| ...mmm....i thought this stuff was supposed to put me to sleep, relieving me of all cold symptoms while i slept, so i can wake up and be a better version of me....i finished one dose and i'm still awake feeling like crap... (twiddling my thumbs).....what to do now??? | | |
| what a long day...the prof just wouldn't stop...and he said "today you guys will be able to leave early"....ummm yeah right. never in the 4 yrs of undergrad did i have to sit attentively for the full studio hours 1:30-5:30....and today is not the first time....oh well....i must say i'm really enjoying the prof a lot more...and he's genuinely trying to be helpful and really trying to impart knowledge and ideas to us. he's read so many books of various genres that he just throws out 10 references from the top of his head in one class...... it's definitely more directed than couple wks ago...so no complains...just a little whiney coz it's such a long day....and i had class b4 studio too  anyway...back to the title of this post...the kosmic fundraiser boat cruise themed: classy or trashy......haha....i wouldn't say it sucked...and i wouldn't say that it was super fun....well...i guess it's the ppl....i don't know the ppl.....these 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th yrs....i didn't know any of them....only a handful of grads went and even so, i didn't know most of them well enough....haha..good that my roomie was there to keep me company....all in all...still had fun....i didn't feel like i had to jump off the boat at any moment...but man....it would've been much more entertaining if it was my kosmic year and my friends and classmates were along for the craziness......yes....it was crazy....girls (who chose trashy of the two options) making out w/ each other...and the guys nearby... .....man...were ppl that obnoxious in our year??....maybe i'm too old for this..... lesson learned: a bottle of good wine in the comfort of my suite in rez would do just fine.... | | |
| i pulled my first all-nighter last night...it was absolutely uncalled for had i managed my time better...i totally brought it upon myself...coz i was procrastinating too much for the past wk....and the worst part is that it wasn't even for studio..haha...it was for a theory course..... dwg for theory course.....research for studio......mmmm.....it will be interesting.... glad it's saturday tmr...as tired as i am...my mind is still occupied now, it will be a late night again... really gotta work on studio tmr....it has been pretty relaxed for the past few wks...but it's just the calm b4 the storm.....i can feel it  and did i mention how badly i miss the architecture bldg?....had an awesome lecture in the old mac lab today.... note to self: stop playing spider on the computer...it's not THAT fun... | | |
| wow...i almost forgot my sign in name and password for my blog...last entry 5/31/07....too long ago....lots has changed since the last time i put in an entry.... what happened....?!?? back to school now...suddenly have an urge to blog again....so much feeling, so much i want to write, share, say... | wow, I haven't blogged for months... There's a first for everything...and today, it's my first time to experience being trapped in an elevator..... ....all I can say is that the British landlord is the biggest @ss on earth.......along w/ two other ppl, I was stuck in the elevator at my apartment which stopped below the basement level.......the other girl in the elevator opened the inner elevator door about a foot wide......and while we can hear someone trying to pull open the exterior door, we hear the landlord say to the guy trying to help us (probably a super)...."if you try pulling that door open, whose fault is it if sthg goes wrong???.....".......helper guy said "......mine....".......WTF??......why the hell did u come down if you didn't want the responsibility as a landlord and a sane person?...and why did u make the guy feel guilty for trying to help ppl stuck in the elevator???.......unbelievable......shortly after the guy said "mine".......it was silent......they just left....ignoring our cry for help, door banging, and sounds of the alarm....... luckily, my phone had signal, and i called the apt office to report the situation......the lady called me back to tell me they called the elevator company but they are in the other side of town......but since there are ppl in the elevator...it's considered an emergency..........wow....very comforting....... so 40 mins later, elevator fixer comes to the rescue........ with all the rent that ppl are paying........they should be ashamed......if it takes 4 million bucks to fix 3 elevators in a 37 flr bldg......DO IT !!....arrogant bastard....... | | |
